UNITED WE STAND-HUMANITY OR WORLD STABILITY

After the devastating floods ravaged large parts of Pakistan International Organization flushed their support to the engulfed country.
NATO-The North Atlantic Treaty Organization has decided to provide help though airlift and sealift for delivery of relief materials donated by nations and humanitarian relief organization. The first NATO flight from Slovakia is expected to touch ground by sunday to provide relief such as generaters ,motorpumps and generators.
The aid is in response to the request made by the Pakistan government to Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Ccoordination Centre in Brussels.

Calls from Ottaawa also have been made to Islambad for more flood relief assistance.Individual donation by each canadian will provide a larger canopy of relief and hope.

World Bank has agreed to hike grants to I billion dollars from the proposed 900 million dollars.

Well one of the most engaging dimension of Pakistan floods is the help offered by India of 5 million USD.

Well the humanitarian relief is being eyed from different angle and there has been a lot of debate on this scenerio.
The core point here is this is a country which is perceived as the soil for sowing seeds of terrorissm for ages and during such a debacle the whole world has united to save this country.Pakistan has self ravaged itself for various reason in the past.It has become the state of Non-State actors.Its really interesting to see the development story  of Islamist group such as Jamat-ud-Dawa who are also helping the flood porne area.Everyone wants to make their presence felt in this unstable country to win people's heart.If this country is left on its own fate the whole South Asian region will get distabilize.Pakistan is going through one of the worst phase.There is a need to protect this nation from more misery and unstablity.The fear of capturing of innocents for terrorist activity is a major concern and that has to be curbed really effectively.There is a deeper meaning behind providing aid to Pakistan despite the humanitarian angle.

If i can draw more angle to it,Muslim countries such as Saudi Arabia or U.A.E have not flusshed aid to the country.It is the west which has offered help on wider spectrum.Corruption and military misuse is one the concern i am bothered with.the money should be used in a appropriate manner.The money should not land up in dirty hands.Many people argue that Pakistan should not be helped on such a large basis.I leave this thought to you ,is world saving the country for humanity or for stability of world order?
